Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro Launched in India

Today India’s No. 1 smartphone Brand Xiaomi launched their new budget offering under their Redmi Sub Brand known as Note 7 and Note 7 Pro. Redmi Note 7 is 7th installment of Redmi Note Lineup.

Redmi Note 7 Pro Specifications

The Redmi Note 7 Pro sports the “Aura Design” 6.3-inch Full-HD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and waterdrop-style notch (aka Dot Notch). Both front and back of the phone are covered by 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5 for added durability. The smartphone is powered by 11nm manufacturing processor-based octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with 4GB/ 6GB of RAM, and 64GB/ 128GB of inbuilt storage with a microSD card slot (up to 256GB). Coming to the camera Redmi Note 7 Pro sport’s 48 MP IMX586 Sensor with F/1.79 aperture. It has secondary 5MP Depth Sensor. In selfie department it houses 13MP Front Camera with AI Enhancement for Face Unlock and Portrait Mode.

Redmi Note 7 Specification

The Redmi Note 7 sports the same “Aura Design” as the Redmi Note 7 Pro as well as the same 6.3-inch Full-HD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and waterdrop-style notch (aka Dot Notch). The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC and packs 3GB/ 4GB of RAM. It also includes 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD card slot (up to 256GB) for further expansion.

Moving to the Camera capabilities, which Xiaomi highlights as one of the strong points of the phone, the Redmi Note 7 features a dual camera setup on the back that houses a primary 12-megapixel sensor (with 1.25-micron pixels) with a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor. In China, the company used a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM-1 sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor on the Redmi Note 7. There is a 13-megapixel front shooter which has AI capabilities like AI Portrait And AI Face Unlock

Similarities Between Both Devices

Bothphone runs on Android Pie-based MIUI 10 and the company says that it has added enhanced system optimisations in the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which, Xiaomi claims, provide 10 percent faster system responsiveness. Both phone also included a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support.
